AccuCut Showcase – WEDnesday!

For this week’s AccuCut Showcase we have a new invitation to show you… this 5×5 invitation was cut down from the 5×7 pocket-fold. The 5×7 is ideal for layering up the RSVP card, Direction card, and a Reception card but not everyone needs all of that information in their invitation. Here we have included just the RSVP card and the little 4.5″ x 4.5″ RSVP envelope will fit in behind it.

See how we have completely changed the look of the invitation by simple cutting off two inches from the top! Gotta love versatility!

Don’t get us wrong – even if you’re only using one RSVP card, you can still use the 5×7 Pocket-fold invitation. Ideally it should be a slightly larger size to “fill” the pocket better and take up more room, as seen in the invitation below (we used a 4.25″ x 5.5″ RSVP card instead of the standard 3.5″ x 5″)

Notice how we also switched up the position of the pocket – that’s an advantage of using the AccuCut template vs. a pre-packaged pocket-fold invitation. There is no “right” or “wrong” side to place your pocket – it is simply a matter of personal preference.
