Many of us have had the opportunity to partake in the Disney experience. Whether you are a lover or not, it is definitely an experience. Our family has visited Disneyland in California, Walt Disney World in Orlando, as well as Disneyland Paris. Since I have become a parent, Disney has become a more frequent destination, with other trips planned in the near future. I will admit that the Disney bug has bitten me, and I am one of those people who can feel the magic. I will also admit that Walt Disney World Orlando in July is hot and hard work, but the enjoyment factor is large for my boys, making it all worthwhile.
On one of our first trips to the Florida parks, we snapped this photo of my middle son with Woody from the movie Toy Story. The value of our trip that year was easily summed up in this photo. He truly had, and still has, Woody in his heart (as does his Momma).
Your Mojo Monday challenge this week is to haul out an old or recent Disney photo and create a layout, card or project with a Disney theme. Upload your completed projects to our gallery. If you’ve never been to Disney, substitute for a favorite vacation photo.
If you play along, be sure to upload to our Mojo Monday Gallery on Facebook, or comment on this post with a link to your project.
Participants in our challenge this week will be entered into a draw to win a new “Say Cheese” Page Kit recently released from Simple Stories! This new paper line has a distinct Disney feel and will be great for your Disney projects – we are now accepting pre-orders from that line.
Challenge entries and pre-orders are due by Monday, August 19th. We expect this collection to ship in September, so we will notify prize winner when shipment arrives.
Thanks for joining me in the fun. Before you go, check out this Design Team layout by Lori Smith – perfect for this week’s challenge!
