Create-a-Card – Beautiful Bows

Hi all;

I’m back with a super easy create a card post featuring a new die. I love it when a product comes in that I am skeptical about and then when I give it a whirl, it blows me away! The Beautiful Bows die by Die-namics did just that.

Here’s my card:

Here are the supplies:

  • Ali Edwards Heartfelt Stamp set
  • Avery Elle Handwritten Notes stamp set
  • Memento tuxedo Black ink
  • Copics (any pink and red)
  • Scor tape
  • tiny attacher -not shown
  • mini glue dots – not shown
  • Beautiful Bows Die by Die-namics

Here’s a picture of the die with the pieces cut out – each set makes a large and small die.  It’s hard to see but for the tails you can also cut them in the middle to make the tails come out the bottom of the bow as well.

Instructions:

  1. Cut your bows out using the Beautiful Bows Die and red card stock
  2. Use your fingers to curl the body of the bow to minimize the paper cracking *this youtube video shows you how to assembly the bow completely
  3. Loop the body of the bow back to the middle and staple using Tiny Attacher
  4. Wrap center strip around center of body to cover up where you stapled
  5. Use a glue dot to adhere the tail
  6. Stamp the large journaling lines stamp from the Studio AE Heartfelt set using tuxedo black onto Neenah card base
  7. Color the hearts in using Copics
  8. Adhere the bow with Scor-tape

Done!

Happy Stamping!
