Mojo Monday – June 16/14 -Teacher Appreciation!

Happy Monday! Happy Mojo Monday!

It’s getting to be that time of year when the school year comes to a close and summer arrives (still waiting for summer to arrive but hey that’s NL for you!).  Each year I give a lot of thought as to what to get the teachers in my life – some years a bottle of wine and glasses etched with the Silhouette are warranted, other years it’s a stack of handmade cards to get them through a year but this year I’m thinking even more practical is the way to go.  We have several customers who give supplies or gift certificates to the Paperie to their teachers – what better gift than quality supplies that they will use everyday.

Some options are above: Tim Holtz scissors, erasable pens, double sided tape, a scrubby, washi tape, LePen pens … so many more options in store.  We can pull together a gift for you if you’d like and pair it with a thank-you card – just give us a call or send us an email with  your budget and we’ll take it from there; what could be easier?

Your challenge this week is to create a personal, handmade thank you for someone. Maybe there is a special teacher to recognize, or someone who just needs to be recognized with a simple thank you for their kindness. I have always been a believer in always counting your blessings and recognizing the thoughtfulness of others.

Here are a few examples we put together to say thanks;

Here is a cute favour box from our Accu-cut collection at the store. It’s great to pop a gift card into for that special someone.

This is another die from our Accu-cut selection. It’s a portfolio die that is perfect as an enclosure for those handmade cards you made as a gift, or to hold a gift card and thank you card.

Don’t forget to upload those thank you’s to our Mojo Monday gallery on our Facebook page.

Have fun!
