Create a Card – October 1st

Lately we’ve been making a few cards for upcoming events and it seems I’m stuck in a Christmas theme already!  For this week’s create a card I pulled out my new Tim Holtz Christmas blueprints stamp and some gold foil card stock (love it) to make my card.

Instructions:

  1. Black heat emboss the poinsettia image onto the watercolor panel
  2. color image lightly with the distress markers *I didn’t colour in entire sections but rather outlined certain areas as the water brush will blend and extend the colour)
  3. Use water brush to ‘paint’ the image which will blend and extend the color
  4. let dry or heat set
  5. stamp greeting with Archival ink
  6. Adhere panel to gold foil card base
  7. Done!

Happy Stamping!
