Happy Monday! Happy Mojo Monday!!
This week’s challenge is to use your Christmas craft stash to create a “Non-Christmas” project.
We all have Christmas papers, stamps, embellishments in our stash. Maybe you bought a new stamp to create your Christmas cards, or maybe you’re using The Paperie’s December Scrapbook Kit to create an album of Christmas memories. Get out your Christmas stash and create a “Non-Christmas” page, card or project.
I have a couple of little-boy January birthdays coming up, so I decided to make a few birthday cards.
I started with our own Kids Christmas Card Kit that we released this year. My son used it to make cards for his friends at school. Here’s what I “stole” from his leftovers;
I chose papers from the Basic Grey Evergreen 6×6 pad that were neutral and didn’t have a Christmas print.
I punched some circles, stamped the “Stay Cool” message and the Penguin image from the enclosed acrylic stamp set, coloured my penguin with my Copic markers, and embellished with the enclosed My Mind’s Eye enamel dots.
I decided to add a party hat from an old stamp set that I had and cover the tuque that the penguin was wearing to give the penguin a birthday feel. Other than the party hat stamp, the only thing I added to the Kids Christmas Card kit leftovers, was some wide washi tape.
Here’s the end result;
We would love for you to share the projects you made with us!! Here’s how you can;
