One week ago today, we were crafting, creating, and chatting at our 20th Retreat Weekend! We had so much fun, had a chance to relax and enjoy what makes us happy 🙂 Thank you to all that participated this time, as well as during the 19 retreat weekends that led up to this one.
In addition to a weekend of individual creative time, we were so happy to have offered a selection of classes, demos, and chats on the latest and greatest products and techniques.
Tina’s Doll Door Hanger Class
Cathie’s demo featuring Dina Wakely product and Lynn’s creation post mixed media class
Sara’s Color Lab demo
Krista demos the new Photo Fuse Tool.
Rae Lynn chatting about her Book Of Me class she teaches @ The Paperie
We offered product releases throughout the weekend, which were only led by an “ah-hum” before the product hit the table and the participants came running to grab what they could.
We played a couple of games throughout the weekend, and gave away some pretty cool prizes.
Photo Scavenger Hunt fun
Here is our grand prize winner – Sheree – when she found out she was lucky winner of a brand new Heidi Swapp Minc machine!
In addition to this awesome grand prize, a 20th Retreat also deserves some special treats! Our goodie bag that we give to all participants came in the form of a pizza box this time – jam packed with goodies – including an issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine which was supplied to us from this Canadian publication to help celebrate our weekend! Thanks Catherine!
And who would have a celebration without cake – two cakes actually?? For our weekend and for a birthday all in one!
No event that was this much fun could happen without an incredible amount of planning and team work. I want to pass on my sincere thanks to my team – my business partner Wendy who is a tireless worker, terrific planner and my friend, Tina and her amazing enthusiasm towards having fun while working hard, Mary Ann for her creative design work and to Stephanie for her help planning and packing. You are an amazing hard working team!! Thank you!
For those of you who weren’t able to be there this time, don’t worry! Mark your calendars and join us in November 2015!
