Mojo Monday – June 1st/15 – Sketch Challenge -with a twist!

Happy Monday! Happy Mojo Monday!!

This week’s challenge is to use this sketch – with a twist- on a layout this week.

Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine is a Canadian quarterly publication that is packed with technique and inspiration. When we celebrated our 20th retreat weekend at the end of April, we were able to give each participant their own copy of the winter edition! We are now offering the magazine free to our customers with a minimum purchase (while quantities last) when you visit our store 🙂

The website is also full of great information. They have a whole series of sketches online, which is where I found the sketch for this week’s challenge.

Before you set off running to the stash to get started… here’s a twist for you!

Follow this formula when you create your page this week;

OLD, NEW, BORROWED, COOL

S&CT has a link on its website to a monthly challenge they once did. While you are gathering stuff to create your project, follow the formula!

Here’s my take on the challenge:

OLD – The background paper I used is a Fancy Pants paper from the Daily Grind collection. The alpha stickers are an older set of American Crafts Thickers.

NEW – The other patterned papers, as well as the wood veneer and transparent overlays are from the Hello World collection by My Mind’s Eye.

BORROWED – I borrowed this sketch to get us started from the S&CT website.

COOL – This is completely up to you! What did you use on your project that you think is just really cool. I LOVE the transparent overlay on the photo!

We would love for you to share the projects you made with us!!

Here’s how you can;

  • Upload your  project to the Mojo Monday Gallery on our Facebook page.
  • Tweet your project using our Twitter handle
  • Email us a photo of your project to thepaperie@nf.aibn.com

Have fun!
