Create a Card – April 20, 2016

HI Everyone;

Not sure about you guys but I struggle with masculine cards – cards for the little and big guys in our lives.  This past weekend I had some birthday cards to make and here’s what I came up with:

Super quick and fun cards with a lot of color.  Here are the supplies I used:

  • Paper Smooches ‘Birthday Sampler’ stamp set
  • Paper Smooches ‘Seeing Stars’ stamp set
  • Archival Ink
  • water brush
  • Prima watercolours *with cheat sheet swatch thanks to Sara Case Strickland!
  • stamping mat
  • watercolor paper (panel)
  • Red card stock (base)
  • enamel dots
  • tape adhesive

  1. cut panel from watercolor paper
  2. cut card base A2 size from red cardstock
  3. use water brush to apply ‘scribbles’ of water color paint to card panel
  4. stamp sentiment and star images using Archival Ink
  5. adhere panel to red card base
  6. embellish with enamel dots
  7. Done!

Happy Stamping!
