Create a Card – January 17th, 2017

Hi Everyone;

I need to build up my stash of birthday cards so I pulled out a new to me stamp set and had fun creating this simple but sweet card.

Supplies:

  • Neenah Solar White card stock
  • Memento Tuxedo black ink
  • Hero Arts neon ombre ink ‘red to purple’
  • sequins
  • pick me up tool
  • gelly roll glitter pen
  • black journalling ben
  • tombow mono adhesive
  • Altenew Inks: Coral Berry, Ruby Red, Crimson & Paper Bay, Caramel Toffee
  • Hero Arts ‘Color Layering Ice Cream” stamp set
  • Hero Arts ‘envelope pattern’ design block stamp
  • foam stamping mat
  • tape adhesive
  • acrylic block

Instructions:

  1. create A2 card base from Neenah Solar White card stock
  2. create card panel with Neenah Solar White card stock
  3. ink up design block background stamp with neon ombre ink and stamp on front of card base
  4. use the altenew inks to create the layered ice cream image (paper bag for cone base ,caramel for details on cone. Coral Berry for ice cream solid and ruby red for the ice cream details) I used the coral berry, ruby red and crimson for the hearts that I put around the ice cream
  5. stamp the sentiment with black ink and trace with glitter pen
  6. doodle black frame around the panel
  7. adhere panel to base
  8. add sequins to using tombow adhesive
  9. done!
