Create a Card – Feb. 21, 2017

Hi Everyone;

I’ve been going through my supplies and organizing and getting ready for our second hand sale (March 4th) and came across my 6×6 paper pads.  I often buy a paper pad if I love a collection and can then use it for Project Life DIY cards or making quick cards.  For this card I did just that – cut up some of my favourite patterned paper to create a simple layered card.

  • A2 Kraft note card
  • 6×6 paper pad (or any patterned paper) – I used BoBunny Juliet collection
  • gold doilies (I used ‘lucky dip’ gold doilies)
  • Ranger gold embossing powder
  • heat gun
  • versamark ink
  • gold enamel hearts
  • tape runner
  • foam adhesive
  • Avery Elle ‘so happy’ stamp set

  1. create A2 card base from kraft card stock
  2. adhere doily so that it hangs slightly off left side and top
  3. cut 2 types of patterned paper into 1.5×1.5 inch squares – 3 squares of each
  4. adhere squares in two rows onto card base using tape adhesive
  5. gold heat emboss sentiment onto piece of kraft card stock
  6. cut sentiment strip into a flag
  7. adhere sentiment strip covering gap between the squares (use foam tape)
  8. embellish with gold enamel hearts
  9. Done!

Happy Stamping!
