  • Copic Markers
  • foam adhesive
  • liquid adhesive – tombow mono
  • Gelly Roll glitter pen
  • Lawn Fawn “happy happy happy” stamp set
  • Lawn Fawn ” celebration script sayings” stamp set
  • Jane’s Doodles “Spring Blessings” stamp set

  1. cut and scor A2 card bases
  2. Cut card panels
  3. cut one sentiment strip
  4. stamp flower images (for the lupin shaped flowers) – no idea what they actually are!
  5. *for these flowers I stamped one image out to use as a mask to lay down so when I stamped the flower on the right it looks like it’s behind the other one.
  6. Colour images with copic markers.
  7. stamp sentiments and trace with the glitter pen
  8. adhere panel to card base
  9. adhere sequins with liquid glue
  10. Done!

Create a Card – April 11, 2017

It’s been a couple of week’s of crazy travel (makes for great scrapbooking and storytelling though!) and I’m happy to be spending a bit more time creating again.  I had fun with a recent stamp set purchase combined with some older products.

  • Memento Tuxedo Black ink
  • water color paper – A2 Card base
  • Neenah Solar White – card panel 4 1/4 x 3 1/4
  • Distress stains – broken china and mustard seed (any would work to create a background)
  • Gelly Roll glitter pen
  • copic multiliners
  • Copic Markers (E37, E35, E31, Y13 & Y15)
  • My Favourite Things Stamp set ‘Otterly Love you’
  • foam adhesive
  • foam stamping mat

  1. Create A2 size card base from water color paper
  2. create panel from Neenah solar White
  3. stamp otter and balloon (I pulled the ballon from another stamp set by MFT but you could also free hand the ballon easily).
  4. Color otter and balloon
  5. stamp sentiment
  6. trace over ‘otterly’ with gelly roll glitter pen
  7. use distress stains as daubers and created dotted background directly on card base front.  Since distress stains can remain wet I dabbed off excess with a tissue (I’m to impatient to wait)
  8. create ‘stitched’ frame on card panel with copic multiliner
  9. adhere panel to card front using foam adhesive
  10. Done!

Happy Stamping!
